Paraty Beaches
* Trindade
It is the most famous beach in Paraty. It is famous for having been chosen by the hippie movement in the sixties. It is a beach with many options, you can surf and also has a swimming pool for children.
* Playa do Sono
It is one of the most beautiful beaches of Paraty considering its fine sand and crystal clear water. It is a beach with native and savage vegetation. There is a small fishing community that lives there. You can access from a trail that begins near Laranjeiras Condominium.
* Jabaquara
It is a large beach cut by the river Jabaquara, surrounded by urbanization, has calm waters and is known for its medicinal mud being rich in iodine. It has several kiosks, hostels and camping.
* Prainha
It is a small beach with vegetation and stones embedded in sand. The water is calm and green. You practice diving and there is a wall where you can practice rappelling. It has a bar to drink something cool. Access from the "Praia Grande".
* Praia do Pontal
This beach is located in the heart of of Paraty. It is surrounded by bars where you can take caipirinhas and eat fish or shrimp. Boats leave from this beach for excursions.
* Paraty-Mirim
It is a large beach cut by a river. In the past was an important commercial port. It is interesting to visit the ruins and the Church of Our Lady of Conception which was built in 1757, is the oldest of Paraty. This area is also an Indian reservation and it has bars, guesthouses and restaurantes. Access from the "Praia Grande".
* São Gonzalo
It is a beach where live a fisherman. It is not ideal for swimming, but it has a wonderful view. Access from the "Praia Grande".
* Tarituba
This beach is desert, is located in the north of Paraty, it has small and calm waters and fine sand, is ideal for bathrooms.
* Martim de Sá
It is a wild and desert beach, surrounded by mountains and vegetation. Is ideal for surfing. There is a beautiful waterfall formed by a nearby river. There are small places for camping.
* Ponta Negra
Small and beautiful wild beach of white sand and clear water. There is a fishing community living there. It is an ideal beach for snorkeling
* Playa Cachadazo
It is a desert beach of fine white sand, surrounded by native vegetation. You can reach by boat or along a path. It is ideal for swimming and snorkeling
* Martim de Sá
It is a wild and desert beach, surrounded by mountains and vegetation. Is ideal for surfing. There is a beautiful waterfall formed by a nearby river. There are small places for camping.
