Q. How do I book a property?

A. After selecting the property you wish to rent and dates, you must register as a new user by filling out the form with your personal details.

Then, we will send you an email with your booking details, before proceeding to the deposit payment that confirms your booking. Afterwards you will have to inform us your payment method: credit card (with an additional charge of a 5% fee) or bank transfer.

If you choose to pay with a credit card, you will receive an e-mail with confirmation of your booking and voucher.
If you prefer to pay by bank transfer, you will receive an e-mail with the details and number of your pending reservation. You'll be asked to send us the proof of your bank transfer to: bookings@homes2stay.com. After receiving this payment, we will send you our confirmation and voucher by e-mail.

Q. Is it safe to pay by credit card?

A. Yes, it’s absolutely safe to pay by credit card. Our online credit card payment service is ensured by PayPal Technology and all your personal details are protected.

Q. How and when do I get my Booking confirmation?

A. You will receive confirmation by e-mail, immediately after the payment, if you use the credit card payment option.

If you choose to pay by bank transfer, you will receive our confirmation by e-mail at least until 48 hours after we receive the proof of bank transfer, that can be sent to: bookings@homes2stay.com. Please do not forget to provide your pending reservation number.

Q. How many people should I mention when booking a property?

A. The rates on our website refer to each property and are shown per night.

These rates can vary depending on the number of people, number of days and selected periods. In order to give you the total price for the selected property, you should mention the total number of guests when filling out the booking form.

If during your stay, the number of guests in the property changes, you must always mention the maximum number of people that will be staying in the property, regardless of the duration of their stay.

Q. What is the individual price for babies/children?

A. There is no additional costs for babies.
If you need a crib or a child bed, an extra fee may be charged, depending the selected property.

For children, the price may vary, depending on the conditions established by the owners, which you can consult in the property's details section.

Q. Can I reschedule or cancel my booking?

A. If  you wish to change the number of people or nights, you have to inform us as soon as possible by e-mail, to: bookings@homes2stay.com. On that e-mail, you must mention the reservation number, provided on the confirmation we sent you.

If you wish to change your selected property, you must cancel your reservation first, by sending an e-mail to: bookings@homes2stay.com. On this e-mail, you must mention the reservation number provided in your voucher. Only afterwards, you will be able to do a new reservation.

Any changes will incur additional fees or total loss of the money already paid at the booking process.
If you wish to cancel your booking, please note that the deposit payment will not be refundable, even if you do cancel it more than 30 days prior to your arrival.

As far as the remaining balance of your stay is already paid, each owner establishes the conditions regarding cancellation. This information is provided on your voucher, and also on the property’s details section.

For a fully paid reservation, there is a cancellation charge that will depend on the number of days before the beginning of the rental period:
- More than 90 days before: 20% of the total amount;
- 60-89 days before: 30% of the total amount;
- 30-59 days before: 50% of the total amount;
- Less than 30 days before: 100% of the total amount;
